Scott Commercial Limited (SCL) restores homes and commercial workplaces after fire, flood, storm, and impact damage. As insurance-approved builders, we work seamlessly with insurers, loss adjusters, and owners to return properties to pre-loss condition—safely, quickly, and to a high standard.
With over two decades serving insurers and policyholders, we deliver residential, commercial, and body corporate projects. We support the full reinstatement journey: emergency make-safe, on-site assessment, scope and estimate, reinstatement, and full rebuilds, including Major & Complex Claims (MCL) capability.

You lodge a claim with your insurer, who may engage one or more approved builders to assess the damage. We complete an on-site assessment, prepare a scope and estimate, submit it to your insurer, and—once appointed—plan and deliver the reinstatement through to handover.
For urgent situations, we prioritise make-safe work to help prevent further damage. For standard assessments, we aim to contact you promptly to book a suitable time and keep you informed of next steps.
Often, yes. Insurers typically appoint from their panel of approved builders. You can tell your insurer you’d like SCL to assess and complete the reinstatement, and we’ll work with them and your loss adjuster to progress approvals.
Yes. We support homeowners, commercial property owners, and body corporates with reinstatement and repairs—ranging from minor repairs to full rebuilds.
MCL generally refers to larger or more complex claims that require structured planning, specialist coordination, and tighter stakeholder management. We have capability to deliver MCL scopes—from initial make-safe through to staged rebuilds.
